Why hire a professional animal photographer if I've got a great camera phone?

phones today can take great photos. and its been said the best camera is the one on you - usually our cellphone! Even I'm guilty of this spontaneous perk. They're great for catching candids on the fly.

from videos of stalking games with your cat to whipping it

out riding the horse i totally get it, & am

not here to fight that convenience.

However, seeing my clients' excitement over results at session's end it's very clear hiring a professional animal photographer is a

very different experience! not just better gear, but most

important created with intent & the luxury to plan in advance.

things like location, lighting, what you wear(play dressup!),

& cooking up poses. the time to find inspiration & plans for

the photos. and finally, the distraction of your phone is off the

menu. a seasoned photographer blending all this is how

the wow you didn't expect happens!



but, animals don't always stand or look where we want, they can dance, drag you in circles, or just want out at the most embarassing times! if this happens during photos wouldn't an animal maestro immune to such antics that can find calm, guide

focus where we want, & snap it at the perfect moment be the obvious choice? this ability at the ready for your session is a huge bonus!

it takes tremendous pressure off & frees you to just be

yourself, trust the process, & enjoy the fun experience!
